Monitor getting no signal

bob138

I have a system running a 970 and an AOC monitor (specific specs down below). It has worked for about a year at this point flawlessly. However, after a 6 hour car trip in which I moved my computer I set my rig up and it booted fine. The monitor then proceeded to show a detection by exiting its rest mode only to immediately say "No signal" and going back into a rest mode.

As usual I went into a "gotta find the problem" mode and checked everything. The DVI-D cable I had been using for my computer's lifespan was fine, no damaged pins, it worked on another monitor and rig. I then checked my monitor with the same and a different cable on another system. Everything functioned perfectly. So then I grabbed my system and connected it to another monitor over DVI-D, it worked perfectly. So here I am now totally stumped because I've tried everything. Nothings changed in my configuration and it only just stopped working after an age of great operation.

Build:

CPU: AMD FX 9370 Black Edition

GPU: Gigabyte 970 Windforce

PSU: Corsair CX Builder 750W 80+ Bronze

MOBO: Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0

Monitor: AOC I2267Fw

RAM: HyperX Fury 2x4gb ddr3-1866

Thanks for any help or advice you give!

Make sure all your power cables, GPUs, RAM, SATA cables are all connected properly. Sometimes during shipping, a system could be jarred and cables could end up being loose.

Your system works with another monitor. Your monitor works with another system. They don't work together. I gotta tell ya, I'm stumped as well. Hit it with a hammer, that usually works.

I did check that, remember I said my system works flawlessly on another monitor? All power cables and and other components are plugged in nice and snugly. Hell I even reset the CMOS to see if that would help but no dice.

This is really quite the bummer because I would love to finish the Witcher 3, if anyone has any other guesses it would be hugely appreciated.
