First Watercooled Build - Chronological Tower Mark I

Hello, everyone. I'd like to create a new custom desktop in a proper way, starting fresh from the distraught and the mistakes of my first attempt that went bad for me a long time ago. I only want to use this new project build at a $1300-1360 range strictly for gaming. I have like 500+ games on Steam sitting in my library to stress test for later. I will need some assistance in receiving the advice on what parts I should try to keep or change to fit with that budget I personally want to set, so that way I will be happy for my new rig to last me for a few years in the future. Thanks in advance.

Here are the planned specs below:

its more but spending another $60 on a R9 390 is defiantly worth it

It is within his budget though, hurts saying get a 390 when I own a 970 lol, it isn't just the 390, its Skylake + DDR4 also

That looks really good to me. I'll get Windows 8.1 from G2A since that's cheaper there. I'll go ahead and make changes to the list shortly.

Do you actually need that SSD and 4TB of storage?

Yes, the SSD is only going to be for the OS, and the 4TB of storage is needed for applications and games on Steam and possibly Origin.

Look above, the Samsung SSD is better and cheaper and included is 3TB HDD. It is also an i7 Skylake rather than i5

You want a better power supply. The EVGA NEX isn't very good. Go with the G2/GS or B2.

Oh, so it's not that compatible with the motherboard? Alright. I'll go with the GS/G2 or B2 for now. Thank you.

It's good if you aren't overclocking where its not really stable enough for that but if the person is then yeah its a bad power supply at least from reviews i've read thinking about this means I actually need to get a more stable version.

Staying away from the NEX due to bad reviews I've seen on YT. Sticking with GS/G2 or B2 because of efficient energy that way.

You can get the B2 for less money and it is a better unit.

Why are you going i7 on the mainstream?

If you are gonna buy a 6700K/4790K you may just as well buy a 5820K.

If you are only gaming an i7 is pointless, (unless you are buying it to try and get a better binned chip - but thats something completely different and not really great value)
