144Hz 1080p Monitor Under $400NZ(~$250US)?

insanet4co

Hi,

I was just wondering what the cheapest 1080p 144Hz monitor was, as here in NZ I have only seen 144Hz monitors for over $550NZ(~$350US). I don't mind if it's not a g-sync/freesync enabled display, or has a TN panel/not so great colors.

Thanks

AMD FX-6300, Gigabyte 990FXA UD3 R5, Cooler Maaster Hyper 212X, 8GB Kingston HyperX Beast, Asus Radeon R9 285 2GB Strix, Apacer Thunderbird 240GB, ThermalTake Smart SE 630W, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Do you REALLY need it? I dont recommend cheap 144HZ TN monitors.

What's wrong with a cheap 144hz monitor? I already received my new

Qnix 2720 PD true 144

I am very happy with this one. It cost 325 $ was bought on ebay - this price included an extra 15 $ for check on pixel errors and light bleeding.

It was called pixel-perfect. The shipment from South-Korea took 3 working days from the order to arrival.

The specs where

27 inch

1920x1080p FHD

1 ms response time

auto-color adjustment "gaming mode" which produces very vibrant colors and a littlebit dark contrast.

144Hz native frequency on DVI (120Hz on DP) - overclockable up to 177Hz (untested)

Only the OSD menu is very simple and has only  few adjustment options... (no color profiles or sharpness options)

But the monitor has very quick response time. The gaming mode produces verry vibrant colors - better than many TN panels I used before.

the Viewing angle was good too - TN panels have been improved since I bought my last one.
