Painting a Keyboard

Was thinking about possibly painting my old keyboard to jazz it up a bit and was mainly curious about what kind of paint would be most appropriate for doing such a task.

Linus did a video on painting a monitor some time ago, that might be a good reference for a very high quality paint job.

It depend on what type of keyboard you have and what you want to paint.

Paint for plastic keys and paint for metal surface is two different things.

It would depend on the keyboard but I usually don't recommend paint since it can wear though with perlonged use. If you do want to paint it however using a clear coat over everything would be a good way to protect it. As for paint automotive grade paints will give you better color selection and quality over say hardware store paint but you must get paint designed for the material you are painting for and proper priming and surface prep.
