Default_EXE is in my downloads folder. wha?

IDontKnowWhatImDoing

I never downloaded anything titled "Default_EXE" but there it is in my downloads folder and it has the registry icon next to it. 

it was downloaded the day my computer turned into a snail.
what do i do?

Delete it and run anitvirus.

If you've previously won the build off please pm me so we can get something worked out.

ok. i deleted it and emptied the recycling bin.

antivirus encountered an error, i have to remove and reinstall it.

do you know of any free antiviruses that are better than norton? I tried scanning earlier today and all it picked up were cookies

Run Malwarebytes.

 

Whole system scan.

 

If you have any anti-virus like Defender, run it.

Just use Avast or AVG. Free Anti-Virus.

Surely you downloaded it so should know :).

 

PPS: Eset Smart Security FTW.

 

Since I started installing it on client machines (with its unwanted software protection), the number of callouts has massively dropped.
