Stuck on deciding which card I should get

itzzkolt

The MSI card will definitely have better cooling than the reference design cooler.

Well with the MSI GTX 980 Ti you are paying more of a premium for a better cooler, which means a cooler card and pleasant overclocking experience..Oh, and a free copy of Metal Gear 5: The Phantom Pain(I'd take that over Batman any day, huehue). That's really about it. However, if you don't plan on oc'ing or switching out the cooler, might as well get the reference GTX 980 Ti if you'd rather not fork over the cash for a different branded card.

What case are you using

I am using a K450 Desktop (IdeaCentre) computer.  Not a custom case, so I don't know which model it is.  I am able to fit a gtx 760 if that helps too.

The MSI card will definitely have better cooling than the reference design cooler.

And can the MSI perform faster than the regular 980ti?

If I don't oc on any of them, will the MSI be better regarding gaming and performance?

Well the MSI card has several different modes (OC mode, silent mode, etc.). OC mode apparently boosts the base and core clock a little bit. However, I don't think the difference will effect performance drastically--maybe a few more frames than the reference 980 ti.

Well, I am not big on overclocking.  Lets say I don't want to overclock.  I just want a card that I will achieve decent FPS on demanding games like GTA 5 and Battlefield 4, etc.  that won't coil whine and heat up easily.  One that will stay strong.

What graphics do you recommend to me now?
