AC device to 2.5ghz N

Hi I just wanted to ask if an AC pci-e card could connect to a 2.4ghz N router as i have one in my pc but my student accomodation only has 2.4ghz N access points and AC runs on the 5Ghz frequency. thankyou

I doubt it runs ONLY on 5ghz. Pretty much every card that can do 5ghz is dual band... Can you link the model?
