Getting another GTX 980 for SLI

I have a GTX 980 reference card in my pc right now. Should I get another gtx 980 reference just like it? Or would it be best to get a different 980 with a better cooler? I want it to look nice, but like I am not sure if having 2 gtx 980's reference would be bad for temperatures. My pc is only cooled with fans but it idle's around 36 Celsius right now.

Get a custom one.

Something from Asus, Gigabyte or MSI even.

Gigabyte is lot better.

But the card will work at the same speed of the reference one to match.

It'd be better to sell your other 980 and get a 980ti.

What happened to your old account?

Hmm, I'd rather just get a gtx 980ti and just save my 980 for another build then. Would a GTX 980ti do okay with a monitor like:

Wait for the new 14/16nm GPU's to pop up next year, They are gonna deliver some major performance increase and I heard nvidia is gonna support Freesync so you can be good with tht monitor with the new GPU's
