Games Better With Controller

What pc games do you guys concider better with controller? Which 50/50 and what games are totally unplayable for controller? I am making a youtube video on the topic and I wanted to know what the general pc-gaming public things about it. Also tell me why you think this and or that ^^ thank you.

Open World Games? FIFA? I Don't know..

anything that can make use of a throttle (racing games) will most likely be a lot more playable with a controller (example: GTA V)

 

other than that, FPS games I find unplayable with a controller. mouse / keyboard much more accurate and responsive.

no way: RTS, MOBAs, MMORPGs (unless they're specifically designed to be console-friendly, like ESO), competitive-grade FPS (counter-strike)

You say MOBAs but a game called "smite" is also a becoming a big moba and has a full on console port (xbox one) with controller support for on the pc, though almost everybody prefers mouse and keyboard on the pc version and I get oyur point, still quite interesting.

afaik Smite is the only one that's getting a console port and it's quite different from more mainstream MOBAs, like DotA2, LoL or HotS

As somebody that grew up with and converted from a console gamer, I generally use a Xbox one controller on most games plugged into my 4K television. However I do prefer to use a keyboard and mouse for games like city skylines, any kind of RTS game. And most simulators are built to work with the keyboard and mouse. Funnily enough I don't use a controller for driving games as I have a racing wheel and anything that involves flying/space combat are use the joystick for. In my case it tends to be habit and muscle memory. I will play call of duty or Titanfall online using my Xbox one controller and will still be competitive with other players.
