For a $1000 this would go towards and "all around" build",Could fit for someone who wants to get into YouTube and honestly,to me I wouldn't personally pair a locked i5 w/ a 980Ti.

a xeon that performs about the same as an i7, 16GB of ram, a 240GB ssd, this is a streamer's dream. It also has a good case and power supply, something that i noticed was lacking with some of the builds above.

There's nothing wrong with the PSU, although, I wouldn't make that build either tbh -- I'd either spend $1300~ and do it properly, or stick to $1000 and not get a 980Ti; however, the intention of this contest is to maximize performance, and so long as nothing is at serious risk of damage (which nothing is), then I don't see any issue.

Chose a more expensive CPU, becuase if you buy a K processor, than why cheap out on a MoBo, spend on a MoBo, that will benefit, the CPU that you bought. I went ham with the PSU, becuase I call this build budget overclocking. And btw I made it all red/black.

Also, by listing gpu separately is the intention that a discreet gpu must be included?

Well it's not us that's judging it, it's just the builds that meet the requirements go to the poll.

Performance is the best you can get at the 1000 dollar price range.

If your going for best performance, doesn't make sense for a 700 dollar CPU and a 200 dollar GPU.
