New WD blue not recognized

EthanTheFrogMan

I just got a WD blue from Amazon, and I plugged it in with Sata data and power and it is not appearing in the files, I tried the cables with another drive and they work fine, any ideas, something I did not do?

Go to Disk Management, it should be there since it does not have a drive letter and needs formatting.

Right click the start icon / bottom left of screen and select disk management. Right click the WD 1TB Blue, and select format. Just click next over and over and you'll be all set :)

Check your SATA config in the BIOS/UEFI. Make sure the drive can be seen.

Ok it is detected in the bios, I don't know how to make it be seen
