They look pretty dodgy in my opinion, maybe someone more familiar with sound cards can elaborate for you.

on board...unless you are doing some major content creation ...dont bother with a sound card.

Im using an HP Envy 17 it doesn't have one and it has one audio jack so it won't support thee dolby 7.1 surrond on my g430s :P

Neither, sub $5 soundcards are terrible. Get something like a Xonar U3 or Turtle beach if you value your hearing.

The g430s is having 2 discrete channels thus you'll need a stereo soundcard.
