Linus is a big fan of the lg g watch r, and I've also used a moto 360 and its awesome.

If you're on a budget the pebble time has more limited functionality and a pretty crappy screen, but its only a hundred bucks.

I have owned the original pebble, the Moto 360, and the pebble steel, and I also have a friend that owns the Gwatch R so Im familiar with that watch as well. My favourite of all of them is easily the pebble steel. I use my smartwatch 95% as a watch, and 5% to see who has sent me a text/email in order to decide weather on not to read it. Which is all a smartwatch SHOULD be used for (Also music control, although I don't use that). If you're spending more than 5 seconds navigating menus on a smartwatch, you should be pulling out your phone. The reason I like to pebble the best, is because the battery life is fantastic, it looks FAR better than all the other smart watches, and also it is stable and doesn't bug out (looking at you android wear, it is with noting that this could be fixed in the future though). Also the pebble customer support is fantastic (when my original pebble had a cracked screen i just sent them a picture of it and they sent me a new one for free) . The looks part is probably the most important, as it is a watch, and that is the most important aspect of a watch. Looks is where all other smart watches fall short (besides the moto360, it looks pretty good) (*note that this is assuming you're using the steel band on the pebble, the leather one is ugly as hell). The original pebble looks like a fake kids watch, the moto360 looks alright, but you have to put a steel band on it, and then the Gwatch R looks like a god damn Casio G-Shock *shudder*, although this is subjective and you might like the look of a different watch. Another benefit of the pebble steel is the far superior e-ink display, so you can view in direct sunlight. The perfect smartwatch would be the moto360 with an e-ink display running the pebble OS with a pebble steel band. Until that is available, the steel is the next best option.

LG G Watch R/LG Watch Urbane.

If not, pebble.

Though, a lot of stuff centered around smartwatches are supposed to happen at IFA in a few days, we are expecting the Moto 360 2, the Asus Zen watch 2, and the Samsung Gear S 2 to be shown off.

Also, pretty sure this is in the wrong section, it would probably make more sense for it to be in 'Mobile Devices'

Intel i5-6600k (Cooled by a 212 evo) - Asus Z170-A - Asus Dual OC GTX 1060 - NZXT S340 - WD 1TB (Getting SSD this month, hopefully) - 8GB DDR4-2400

LG G4 - Asus Zenwatch 2
