Blue LED fans for Phantom 530

Antonymus19

Hi guys,

I am building a new gamer PC in the next couple of days in a NZXT Phantom 530 case ....

I am looking for some decent, not too expensive LED fans, preferably blue (but can be purple too),

Being new to pc building I have no idea which ones to take and how many ... also, in the review of the Phantom 530, it says that a fan header is available for 10, 3-pin fans ...

Does that mean that I can only buy 3-pin fans or can I connect them somewhere else ? I am also buying a Kraken X61 or a H100i CPU AIO does these come with changeable LED fans or aren't they LED fans ?

Can I replace them with some LED fans or do I have to use the pre-installed fans ?

I could really use a hand here, I am in a bit over my head here, and I need to buy the things soon :/ (I am moving to another county you see ... ),

so any help is appreciated,

thanks in advance....

You can probably use 4 pin fans as well but they will only use the 3 pin signal, meaning they have less range, usually they won't go as slow. Your CPU cooler dosen';t have led fans but any 120mm fan will fit, just need a phillips screwdriver usually.

Personally I like the cougar LED fans, they perform well and I like the looks. Corsair has some good ones too.

thanks, but I also read the header control for fans doesn't even fit 4-pin connectors ? What do I do then ?

Some splitters go from 4 pin to 3 pin, but at that point I would just make sure you buy 3 pin fans, they are usually cheaper anyway.
