New GTX 980Ti but low FPS

bazhuddy

Hi Guys

Just built the below PC and I am unsure if the card is performing to what it should. Below is what CPUZ says about the card.

Hardware monitor  NVIDIA NVAPI
 Voltage 0  1.02 Volts [0x3FA] (VIN0)
 Power 0   27.55 pc (GPU)
 Temperature 0  59°C (138°F) [0x3B] (TMPIN0)
 Fan 0   0 RPM [0x0] (FANIN0)
 Fan PWM 0  14 pc [0xE] (FANPWMIN0)
 Clock Speed 0  595.00 MHz [0x253] (Graphics)
 Clock Speed 1  3505.00 MHz [0x253] (Memory)

On valley benchmark my scores where

Fps Avg 36.8

Score 1541

Min 8.5 Fps

Max 85.47

This was on Ultra AA x 8 and system Res

Just this seem right or am I set up wrong somewhere ??

Thanks

Barry

i don't think any GPU can handle AA well on ultra..

Details separate people.

wait, are those numbers on idle or full load?

because if those are full load, then why is the gpu clock 595mhz?

either ur 980ti is beeing underclocked heavily or ur pci lane is set to 1x or somthing ( gen1 / 1x or w/e )

run Valley at Extreme HD preset, so we can compare the results.

if you ran it at 1080p those results are definitely very low, in fact your gpu clock is chillin'
