Both my monitor and gpu have a Dual Link DVI D Port , but i have a DVI D Single Link cable , can i get it to work ?

My monitor only supports 1680x1050p@60 so it should be fine right ?

That is lower than 1920*1080 @60Hz,

so yes, you are fine!
