Power supply confusin

Go to solution Solved by bpw87,

so i have a 650w powersupply. is it enaf??

650w should be plenty. Generally when they say it needs a certain amount of power they say a bit more then it actually needs just to be safe.

Hi!

So this talk coud probaply go to the powersuply and case thingy but i think this is better??

So im getting a new gpu. and on the gpus site it says it needs a 600w powersuply.

so does it use all of that 600w and how woud i count how much power my gpu uses at the moment?

Thanks for being with my broken english.

At system idle, It won't use all the power.

But under load, it may use.
