Repurposing my HDD

10csimon

I just bought a new system that has a SSD and I'm looking to wipe everything off my hard drive and use it for storage for random stuff. What is the easiest way to get rid of everything off my old boot HDD?

Install first then on the new install head to Disk management and format the hard drive.

Go to the "Disk Management" folder and right click the HDD, then click "Format" and format to NTFS or FAT 32 (NTFS is good for Windows, for Mac its read only) Thatll make it just raw storage for misc files :D

The same thing can be done in File Explorer where the drives are listed.
