Need help finding a monitor for around £400

The monitor will be used for gaming mostly.

I would like the monitor to be 27" or more.

I'm not sure if i should go for a 4k, 1440p or 1080p.

Any suggestions would go a long way.

What are your specs? I'd say 1440p or 1080p 144Hz if you have a 980 or 390/x
