What CPU Should I Go With For An R9 380?

So when i originally build my pc we meant for it to be a basic PC, But it also had the power to do some light gaming as well. It was meant to be a step up from my old $200 laptop that I've had since 2010. 

My Specs Before i added the R9 380 (4gb gddr5 ram):

 

AMD A10-7850K

16 GB DDR3 RAM

750w PSU 

a Gigabyte micro ATX Mo/Bo (cant think of which one off the top of mt head)

and all of this is air cooled only.

 

And so i upgraded and i found out that my CPU Bottle Necked the Graphics Card, Severely. And Now the CPU just stops working at times when i'm rolling with Minecraft, Skype, a Couple of tabs of Chrome open, and maybe some music from Itunes. Occasionally Adobe Software as well, but no rendering while all that is open. just editing. So i need some help. some friends are saying go with the Devils Canyon Processor form Intel. i wanna say its 4790k, i cant remember off the top of my head. But i also see some of these AMD Processors with 6-8 Cores with them for a much cheaper price. Please Need some help!

I need it To play games at its full Potential, and have it record the game im playing (That's why i need it full potential [youtube Gaming Probs Doe]), and i wanna eventually live stream off my pc. but later on.

an unlocked CPU will obviously be better, but there's no need to spend more money if he doesn't need the horsepower. I edited my post asking for a budget.

If you're not overclocking and going cheap, I5-4460 paired with an H81 Board would be more than sufficient. Just update the bios first and you will be fine, take a look at Asus's H81 Gamer board, It's great and pretty cheap.

I would call tech support first. I have the 7850 and 7870. What OS?

I bought them cause the work nicely with the higher end  graphics cards.

Annandtech has a review of the 7870k with gaming benchmarks up to the 980 and two 295's The 7850k is in the benchmarks too.

Jayztwocents has a vid with the 7850k with a GTX 770.

I can't remember MB names either, I just say MSI 68 chipset for the 7850 and Giga 88 chipset for the 7870.

I am actually looking to upgrade to either that card or an r7 360

Just the other day I found that disabling DX11 in Crysis 2 makes it run faster since I have win10.

Also I think I remember in one review the 380 uses PCIE 3 for extra bandwidth, not an issue with 68 or 88 chipsets but possible with the 58....not sure about this

Anything that is not a dual-core...

 

Anything that has 4-6 cores...

 

4 if Intel and 6 if AMD!

 

Athlon X4 860K works to but its a bit on the weak side for a 380...
