Looking for a group of casual people to chill and VoIP w/ on weeknights/ends

So I used to be a pretty hardcore gamer. Was never really all that great at playing games (just your average player) but I used to play a lot. Well now I'm a little bit older (22) and gaming just doesn't have the same spark it used to have for me and over the past few years I have slowly been losing contact with all of my online friends that I've hung out with. My real life friends don't really play any games and I don't have much time on the weekdays with school and work. 

 

Right now I'm just looking for some online friends to chill and converse with on the weekends and maybe play a few multiplayer games here and there. I get pretty depressed and lonely alone in my apartment on the weekends and don't really feel like going out all the time especially when my SO is busy. Right now a lot of my online friends are from the Southeast Asia region so I don't really get to hang out with them during the day. 

 

I was wondering if anyone would like to accept me into their group of friends for some casual chat and play on the weekends.

 

Some of the games I play right now include stuff like LoL (like Gold level), Minecraft, GTA 5 but I'm really down for anything as I have steam. Mostly I just want some people to talk to on the weekend so I don't go crazy. I've really wanted to get into Rocket League since that game looks hella fun but I have no friends to play with.

 

I've never really been the type of person to go out every weekend since I've been a gamer throughout my childhood so now I'm stuck in an awkward position where I don't really have any friends to play game with on the weekends and it's not that fun to play games solo so I spend most of my time sleeping and watching Twitch.

 

Some interesting stuff about me:

I'm a Male (22) born and raised in Toronto, Canada

Currently studying at the UCLA School of Dentistry in the Esthetic Dentistry program (this is my last year)

I'm asian > into anime, manga all that sort of stuff but don't worry I'm no weeaboo

Huge fan of Touhou (the music, the lore and characters etc.)
