Laptop touchpad not working

so my laptops touchpad just stop working, is there a way to check if I may have disabled it by accident? because when i plug in my mouse i can move around just fine.
Currently on windows 10

its Fn plus one of your f numbe keys. The way my y40 is set up f6 is to disable the trackpad and the button is marked with a  trackpad and a cross through it. Just look for that symbol. How old is your laptop btw? cause your trackpad could be just dead

ohh i see it, but nothing happens when i press fn and the key

Did you do a fresh install of win10 before your trackpad stopped working?

no?, it was working for a few weeks, just recently stopped working

Try looking for drivers from your laptop maker's website. if not your trackpad is probably dead. if you have warranty on your laptop, use it.
