You'll need 100's of asic miners when others pay the bill to profit. atleast

you would make negative money because your power bill would be 10x more than what you get from mining

so unless you own an asic, youre not going to make any benefit

It's a waste of money.

You need to have several asic miners for getting good amount of profit.

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

Bitcoin mining even on ASICs is totally worthless.

Scrypt mining can be slightly profitable, but just to break even you have to have balls/ovaries of cast iron and economic prowess bordering on precognition. For most average people, it's not a good idea nowadays. You can get good hashrates if you have an AMD GCN-based graphics card, but don't even try if you have an Nvidia card.

Some people have made decent amounts of money doing it, but that's like saying some people on the stock market have made lots of money, or people at casinos have made lots of money. The chances of you making it in the scrypt mining market are slim, especially if you don't have a seven-290X setup (which requires over 2300W of power)

and then get kicked off and have a criminal record

I would avoid that ( idk about the US, but in the EU that would be a big thing )

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

Mining Ethereum you could get around $39 USD a month or $1.30 USD a day. This is based on if you get 17Mhs which most 970s are (from what I've heard). I used this calculator: http://etherscan.io/ether-mining-calculator and found the hashrate here: https://forum.ethereum.org/search?Search=gtx+970

CPU: Intel i5 4590 @ 3.7GHz | Motherboard: H81-M-P33 | RAM: 16GB DDR3 GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 HDD: WD Blue JVPX 1TB | Keyboard: Corsair K70 Red Mouse: G502

Enought to make you quit mining and never think about it again. If it was that easy to just get a program and magicaly make money, you can bet global economy would be ruined already

Yes, so the taxpayer is going to foot the bill so you could make the money in an entire summer that would take a couple of hours with a real job.

I dont pay my bill mudafucka

attachicon.gifxgz9nkR.gif

My mum does.

Then in the end you still pay the bill because every dollar your parents are spending on the power bill is one less they have available. Your parents aren't infinite money machines.
