The garage is not above my room

I assume the PC room is on the second floor and everything else on the first?

That's a bit more difficult with that layout if you want everything to be nice and hidden, the quickest way from the looks of things would be to get a outdoor rated cable and run it out the room then outside back over the the sunroom area, you could make it look nice is you hide the majority of the cabling in say the soffit until it needs to run straight down to the sunroom.

Hi guys. I have a problem that maby one of you can solve. I would like to run Ethernet cable to my room witch is on the 2nd floor in the complete opposite location of my modem/router. I have decided a couple of plans and would love to here your feedback. I have ruled out (poe) btw

1. Run a 300ft long Ethernet cable through the air ducts In my house

2. Run the cable along the side of the stairs using cable management hiders

3.run the cable outside through the window around the outside and into the sunroom in which the router and modem are located (shortest route)

4.run it through my rooms attic all the way to the garage and then down their into the house through the kitchen and into the sun room

5.turnip

its always best to get the shortest route that isnt impractical or unsightly.

what "impractical" and "unsightly" mean is up to you, but needing to have my window open for a cable would seem "impractical" for me.

Is the room above a garage you can get a long drill bit and punch through the floor and into the ceiling then go from there into the basement or first floor it also won't be as noticeable since it's a garage.

Going through the ducts is a big pain usually so I'd stay away from it unless you can get a direct run down to where you need it.
