Maybe it's overheating? The 580 is pretty old.. Try cleaning the cooler :)

What PSUs were they? Also what wattage were they rated for? The 580 is quite a power hungry card, so the PSUs might not have been able to supply it with enough power

Specs: CPU: AMD FX 6300 Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A DS3P RAM: HyperX Fury 16GB 1866MHz GPU: MSI R9 270 OC edition Case: Sharkoon VS3-S SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB HDD: 1TB Caviar Blue PSU: Corsair CX500W

*If I say something that seems offensive, please don't take it seriously, it was most likely meant as a joke/sarcastically*

The 580 does that when it reaches 102 or 103 Celsius. Definitely worth making sure the cooler is free of dust, your case has good airflow and you aren't trying to overclock too far if at all on air.

Check the fan, the temps and check if your PSU can handle it. Sounds like overheating or power problems... Is the PSU old? Brand name or random chinese low end one?

3 different case
1 - your CPU is over heating
2 - your GPU might trigger when extreme heat but, usually driver crashed.
3 - your PSU is biked when overload.

Thank you for your responses,

The PSU is 650W the one now.

Temps are good both cpu and gpu.

The PSU is old but It ran fine on a HD7970 about a day ago.
