Xbox One controller thumbstick issue

c_marriott

The left thumbstick on my friends Xbox One controller has an issue where it carries on moving forwards/backwards when I flick the stick up/down.

Does anyone know a quick fix?

Will it need to be taken apart?

theres nothing you can do about it really.

i have a PS1 controller with a slightly bent spring, and i have to hold the joystick while playing games to avoid infinitely turining left.
