Benq XL2730z Firmware updated to V002 (ncix Van)?

Just curious whether the firmware has been updated on the Benq XL2730z to version "V002" if i purchase it from NCIX in vancouver.

The sources i read all say the recall has been in EU only so far.

 

Don't want to buy the monitor and end up having to ship it in to do the firmware upgrade.
