Which ASUS Motherboard?

So I'm literally just about to purchase a H97 motherboard and I've come down to:

ASUS H97-PLUS
ASUS H97-PRO Gamer

I believe the pro gamer one is better by a bit, but I'm not sure.

Pick the one you feel prettier.

 

Really, if you know the difference between the boards, you are very capable of deciding for yourself which one is better. If you don't, however, then it's a sign that you really won't make any use of the ever so slightly different features each board has, and the two of them would be effectively identical.

i think they are about the same

 

but i like the color scheme on pro gamer more

It was more or less a "maybe people who are more familiar with motherboards might know something I don't know about these board" sort of thing, sorry =/.

Unfortunately not too many people on these forums buy h-series mobos and of those, even fewer go for ones at that price point where z97 boards are available.

Fair enough, I understand. Just wanted some feedback on my choices before I bought anything.

Well anyway thanks for the replies guys! I ended up going with the H97-PRO Gamer, liked the color scheme more and had really great reviews all around.
