Best (Passive) Air Cooler for Intel i3-3220

I was wondering what the best heatsink for an Intel i3-3220 would be.

The 3220 has a TDP of 55w

I would like if it's good enought to be a passive cooler.

It must be able to fit on a mATX board, in a case with 160mm in cooler clearance to the side panel.

140mm coolers will NOT fit on the board without touching the gpu. Loose/heavy 120mm coolers will also touch GPU. (I know from a saggy hyper 212 evo)

The Zalman FX-70 would cool your CPU well. But check the width, I don't remember the exact measurements.

Damn, beat me to it. As said, the FX-70 is a good choice but size and airflow are your limitations.

It is a 140mm cooler yes, but I have one and an Asrock Z97M OC that is also mATX. I just checked it, I have a 10mm gap between the cooler and the GPU in the most top slot.

Why can't you fit a 140mm one, I'm just curious.

Did that passive spinning air cooler shown at CES or the likes last year ever come into being?

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?
