When I think of a gaming PC I think of something that will be used for games for about a month until the person using it resorts to posting too much on tech forums.

Oh yeah, chances are it's probably red and black.

I view gamers as white fat boys with thin metal glasses, and they tend to sweat a lot.

I view gaming pcs as art.

When I think of a gaming rig, I think of:

Intel i5 CPU

Nvidia GTX 970

8GB of RAM

Corsair or NZXT case

Something looking along the lines of this, OK cable management but definitely gets the job done!

Aside from the bulges and the fan placement in the side panel, I actually think that looks quite nice. it's kinda like the NZXT phantoms.

When I think "gaming PC", I think a PC with a CPU and GPU that cost at least $150 each. And that's borderline. (Considering it would equate to an i3 and a GTX 750, or better if you go the Used route)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus / NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 / PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Win 10 Pro

When I think of a gaming PC I think of something with a high end graphics card, clean case inside/out and excellent cable management.

When I look at gaming PC's some people have created I see the space ships from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"

When I think of a gaming PC, I just think of my Original Xbox-since that's what it actually is. x86 Pentium III-check, Nvidia dGPU with dedicated vRAM-check, system memory-check, hard drive-check, optical drive-check, ATX compatible (on the consoles I've worked on) motherboard-check-----Yep the Xbox Original is a PC and can even use a keyboard since it has 4x USB ports (with a custom connector that needs an adaptor yes-but they are USB ports).

Edit: Also, the Xbox uses high quality components such as rubycon electrolytic capacitors and solid capacitors which I haven't identified yet-which can't be said for its 'successors'. (The Xbone isn't as much of a console-and its built to be dirt cheap)

You know when PcPer just shoved 750Ti in a pre-built and made it a gaming PC ? that's what a gaming PC is.
