Its a higher frequency. Timings are probably different. And they have to make 4 physical sticks instead of two. Its not rocket science...

 

Oh and idk DDR3 and DDR4 r diff?whoa never knew that :P

Currently DDR4 is not worth it - I'm considering stacking up on more DDR3 before it goes away.

You know, if you search "16GB DDR4" in amazon it's going to search through all sections, be sure to select the filter for DDR4

Aside from ddr4 being more expensive, 4 stick kits are usually more expensive because the modules have to be closely matched to ensure compatibility. The difference isn't usually that drastic tho
