ahh man, the hs 558 were on sale for 100 in the us .

Clouds (1) im a owner of the said headset so take so take what i say with a grain of salt.

For the money you have to spend about 150 usd to get some that sounds as good and feels as good. I can wear them for hours, i do, i listen to podcast music and play games with them. Works well with glasses. The sound is clear but flat so no crazy bass but if a song has good bass you will still hear it and feel the air pressure (that low rumble) but you can still make out the singer or other instruments just fine. At max volume its still crisp and clear. Nice braided cable, the length of it could be longer for pc use but shorter when i use my phone. Comes with cable extender and different ear cups that are fabric instead of leather, adaptors so you can use it with consoles or phones. Nice packaging too. Soild construction, metal band so if it does torque no problems. I have a small head they fit,my best friend head is huge (weighing 12 lbs) they fit. Ear cups have soft foam for elves ears. Hmm im sure theres more. They are damn good. You can get better but you normally have to buy a headphobes and a mod mic. O also the mic is decent everyone can hear me just fine, you just have to make sure it pointed at your mouth, some forget this. There is no voice and game volume just the one so you have to turn people up in software (ts, skype w/e) or turn down ingame. O yes, no fancy 5.1 or anything (you need greater distance between the things making sound for that to work well) but you can still tell where footsteps are coming from. Closed back so if you scare easy, lol, you can only hear your game very close to being a mute button for my dogs..
