Is the LG G3 still worth it?

pedrocnc

Hey guys,

I actually have an Nokia Lumia 925 and an Motorola Razr i and I'm planning to get a new phone on holidays here in Brazil.

My preference to this moment is the LG G4 costing R$1.999,99 but it has the LG G3 costing about 35% less of the G4, at R$1.280 aproximately.

Is still worth to get an G3 nowadays or should I wait and try to get more money to buy an G4?

Thanks by now and sorry about my english

I wouldn't get the G3 because android M is going to be released in a month or 2 and it will no longer support updates. With the G4 you will still have support for new versions of android.

LG already said that both the G3 and G4 will be updated to Android M

Can you buy Nexus phones in your country? I expect the next Nexus 5 to come with decent pricing.

I think the G3 is still a very capable phone, but 600 $ for a year old phone is really crazy. :/

Why is SpongeBob the main character when Patrick is the star?

I don't think so..

The G3 is pricing around 350 or so dollars and the G4 around 600.

For comparision, the G3 with the wireless charging dock is cheaper than the new Moto X Play stock here in Brazil

In at least 90% of cases an year old flagship is better choice than a new mid-range model... And yes, G3 is good deal for $350...

English is not my maternal language, so don't mind my mistakes...

Get the G3 is worth.

But don't know about the future Android Marshmallow update on that.

Probably they'll release it. But little bit later than G4.

Yeah, I saw that the G4 is getting M in about 2 months and the G3 1 month after

Wait for the new Lg flagship to come out, namely the Lg G5. That'll make both the prices of the G3 and G4 drop. You can decide which one is worth it then or cave and grab the G5.

That's a good rule when buying new phones.
