Personally i need 8gb minimum, especially if you use multiple tabs on chrome or similar. For school projects you tend to have multiple programs open so i would go for the 8gb (well at least i did).

8GB, you'll feel the need for it as soon as you open a number of tabs. I should know, my laptop has 4GB of ram and the mac mini and imac have less than that.

Is it worth getting 8gb on the macbook air ? (I would be webbrowsing and make document for school and somethimes play csgo or LoL )

 

NVM all the kids "qq apple is bad"

 

I'd get 8gb, as a 64bit os can greatly profit from it, aswell as chrome, as we all know =P

 

But if you can stretch your budget a litte, id go for the base MBPr13, much better screen and comes with 8gb standard :) [And LOL-fast PCIe SSDs]

Frost upon these cigarettes.... lipstick on the window pane...

or go for the base 13 rMBP
