Should I Upgrade My PC?

Guest

Currently using a Asus K53Z laptop. Specs:

AMD A4-3300M APU Dual core with integrated Radeon 6480HD graphics clocked at 1.9GHz

1368x768 display

8g of DDR3 ram

1 terabyte hdd

64 Bit Windows 10 Pro

Games I play are CS GO and Minecraft but if I had a better pc I would play for games. With Radar Cortex I get 50 FPS on CSGO lowest setting. If there's any way I can speed up my computer or if is house upgrade plz reply. If I a build a pc it would have to be sub$500 in Canadian Prices. Plz reply some good build thx!

64 bit Windows 10 Pro

Nope you cannot upgrade anything on Laptop that would help in Gaming.

Only thing is You can upgrade HDD to SSD, That is gonna help in Game loading time not the fps increase.

Also RAM. Not going to help in gaming anyway.

Save up for desktop.

Post back here when you have money, We'll help you find a perfect PC.

[spoiler=Laptop upgrade :/]
The best CPU for that socket is this one: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AMD-A8-Series%20A8-3500M.html
Yup, as you can't see nothing mindblowing.
Also good luck trying to find one, not to mention that's going to be expensive. Upgrading a laptop is expensive and not really worth it.
The upgrades I'd to to a laptop are changing thermal paste, HDD or more RAM, though this isn't the case

This is a signature.

I would get a desktop. Go on pcpartpicker to build a good one or copy the build guides there. Of course everyone here can give you recommendations on building a PC
