How to transfer JUST OS to SSD?

Hi all!

So I've been thinking recently that I want to get an SSD. But then this question came up. How do I transfer JUST Windows 10 (was the free upgrade, so no disc) to the SSD but no applications?

I have so much garbage on my PC that I just want a fresh start. I don't have anything important, and I can just re-download all my Steam Games. So I'd also want to format my hard drive completely.

If anyone could give me a step by step answer on how to do these things, that would be great!

You'd most likely need a fresh copy of iwndows on the SSD

which would require a reset (Most likely not 100% sure)

You can use Cloning Software like CloneZilla.

 

But fresh Installation is always recommended.

 

Backup your data, Make a Clean Installation of OS.

Just make fresh install on SSD

He's asking how to wipe everything and Install the OS. He's not asking how to keep all his files and transfer the OS, Read before you write :)

Go here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and use Media creation tool- it's easy...

One more question. When you transfer the OS does it take all cache's with it? (App Cache and Internet Cache/cookies, etc. )

If it does, that's not starting fresh like I want.

Legit, I want everything new. Fresh start. Cache, registry and everything. Still possible?
