Mini ITX Build - Opinions needed.

Silverfields

My intention for this build is for it to go wherever I need it to go. I think most gaming laptops are overpriced for their specs, so I decided to go this route instead. Whether thats across the US, or just for a road trip, I needed a good mobile setup. What I need now are recomendations for a good portable moniter. Under $150-200 US if possible. If you think any parts should be switched around, feel free to tell me.

Thanks to any and all who respond!

PC-TU200B? Don't get a K-SKU, you're never going to be able to overclock it enough for it to matter. I revised the build, it's a tiny bit more expensive but a way better gaming machine.

As for a display, this 22" AOC IPS 1080p display appears to be fairly portable. If you want something more portable, you could get an HDMI portable monitor, but they won't come cheap.

The monitor you recommended is USB based. It uses USB 3.0 for power and data, meaning that all of OP's power will go to waste since it's not being driven by the GTX 970.

I would use an I5-4460, it's almost the exact same, just a bit weaker in clock and frequency, I would say go with the 4460 and you'll shave more on it, not worth getting a 4590 unless you can oc it.

Using 15% of your budget on your case?

That's a bold move.
