Rebuilding My Gaming Desktop

Hello everyone so i'am looking for a bit of help with upgrading my current pc after being scammed by the company who build my pc and receiving a 1gb card instead of a 2gb i figured out i should just drop something more powerfull into it so currently i run an amd r7 260x oc 1gb from sapphire as well as stock fx6300 i play on a 32inch 1080p tv which operates 75fps max i do not play competetively and usualy drop my visuals a bit to get the nice playable fps i do not need 4k 120fps 720quickscoping power just enough to play modern games and possibly 2-4years forward in medium-ultra and here are the biggest questions i want to ask but before i do i live in ireland so prices will be in euro and i have no problem buying of amazon or other GOOD internet sites

1 My motherboard currently is a rather poor asus m5a78l-m/usb3 And i was wondering should i keep it ? or upgrade to a better motherboard that allows me to crossfire/sli and if so what are good motherboards which allow me to use atleast 2 graphics cards and atleast 4 ram sticks with 1800mhz+

2 Watercooling is it worth it ? I just don't like the idea of water and electricity being so close together. And i would like to know

Does the liquid used in those cooling systems conduct electricity ?

Is it hard to build a watercooling system and would this stop me from switching out parts as time goes on ?

How much would be it cost to build a rather quiet but effective watercooling system ?

Is the price really worth the performance ?

If the piping leaks what is the worst that can happend?

3 Cpu i currently can't see anything that my graphics card can handle and the cpu can't that is not saying much and i am worried that a stock fx6300 running at 3ghz (when it hits 3.5ghz there is a weird coil while like noise possibly from the psu so i limited it to 3ghz) could possibly be a bottleneck for my computer and was wondering how does this cpu do in modern games? is it sufficient or should i add it to my parts to upgrade list and if so what are good cpu options out there preferably under 210$ but i will pay more for a high value for money ratio on a cpu

4 What are good psu units for this one i am strictly looking for quality i want a psu as solid as a tank with atleast 750w + and preferably from a company which will replace the psu if coil while becomes a problem as i want a quiet pc

5 what are good gpu units on the market ? i was looking at Gigabyte AMD R9 270x 4gb and so far i was not able to find a gpu which beats the performance of this one for 190$-210$ not to mention it stays under 70 degrees celcius under load with stock cooling which is nice too. Also would in the future running 2 of them in crossfire be a good idea or should i drop more money and just have 1 good gpu

6 Do SSD provide real benefits over HDD ? I do not mind waiting 10sec longer on a loading screen but with the SSD prices going down i am really looking into getting a SSD for my games as i run 99% of the digitaly and was wondering are there any good 1TB SSD on the market today ?

7 I would be looking for LEGIT windows 7 Profesional/Ultimate or windows 8.1 pro the key must be supplied with the windows and i need 3 copies lowest i seen was 190euro which is a bit much for me anything under 150 for all 3 would be fine for me

Those are my main questions now some of those things are more important than others on my list and because i basically have to rebuild my whole pc i was planning on just building a new pc altogether i could start with a new case and a new motherboard with rest of the hardware being reused this would allow me for easy upgrades in the future and no hassle of swaping out a case as well as possibility of water cooling in the future

Ps english is not my primary language so please do not hate on me if i spelled something wrong

Thank you

1. if you have budget then maybe upgrade to intel platform but if you dont then your current one should be fine

2. a. yes but im biased

    b. no but it can become conductive overtime so make sure to refill

    c. in most cases no but its hard to reuse waterblocks (especially GPU) since almost every model have a different PCB layout (say you have a r9 280 right now and you want to upgrade to a r9 390x, you will have to replace the waterblock)

    d. no

    e. everything breaks (although that rarely happens as long as you tighten all your fittings and do a leak test before you power the rest of your system)

3. it should be fine now but something like an i5-4690k or i5-6500k would be a little bit better (around $200 i think)

4. i usually go for EVGA ones, but antec and seasonic are good ones as well

5. a used gtx 780 / r9 290 is around $210 so you definitely have better options, in terms of sli/cf i dont think you should run two budget cards (its better to have less high performance cards than more low performance ones because sli/cf dont always scale perfectly)

6. yes but buying 1tb might not be the best option. you can get a ~256gb for your os and daily stuff, and a mechanical hard drive for mass storage like games

7. you can save some money by buying on G2A or reddit, i personally prefer G2A and have bought a lot of stuff from there without any issues

Alright, so I'll try to address these the best I can.

1. For the motherboard, it depends. If you don't like the look of it, then it might be in your best interest to upgrade. Also, it might make sense to just hold off for now, and in a year or so, just do a full upgrade to an intel/AMD Zen platform, for a mobo + cpu for like $250ish. The motherboard you currently have should be good enough in a hardware perspective.

2. Ehh. If you are prepared to shell out enough money for a decent watercooling setup, you should jsut get a better cpu/mobo, much better performance. As far as watercooling, it is great for aesthetics, and watercooled multi gpu setups. But for most, air cooling will do just fine, with great performance and low noise. (Plus if a fan dies, the cpu cooler will passively cool, if it's a watercooled loop, you'll crash your system pretty fast.)

3. 6300 is good enough for most gaming, especially when paired with a lower end card.

4. PSU units can be found here

5. Always go for  single more powerful gpu if possible. You alleviate any crossfire issues in games. As for gpu, a 270x, or a 380 would be a good card to throw in for now, or any 290/770-780 that you can find used/ EVGA B stock.

6. 100% yes. SSD you'll love. It makes the difference. Crucial or Samsung make great ones.

7. As far as i know, G2A only sells games, but check out /r/hardwareswap

I like good humans and good food

Guys i really appriciate the answers it really does help getting advice from people who know what they talking about and not a shop trying to sell me some bogus .... the gpu i was looking into is the one i seen on jayz2cents he showed the gpu running battlefield 4 which is not the easiest game to run on very nice and smooth settings and i seen it on amazon for 190$ which is nice and affordable for a card which keeps it cold and runs hard my current plan for upgrades is

1 GPU looking for possibly 200$-250$ range especialy curious about the r9 range

2 Ram i am currently only running 4gb of ram which is very poor by to days standards but i found Hyper x fury series for 8x2 1866mhz (top mhz my motherboard can run) for a quite a nice price of 64pounds or around 100$ which for 16gb ram is not bad and the guy said = My asus ''M5A78L-M USB3 loves it'' which is the motherboard i have so that showes good promise

3 ssd  i have enough space in the case to easily install another 2 storage devices without affecting cooling more than 2 would cause me to cover the fan a little just have to make sure my motherboard can run it

4 more fans and a cpu radiator and fan i plan on going into watercooling as it seems worth it if i run powerfull hardware with that in mind i dont run powerfull hardware now so i will keep it to air cooling for a while untill i find my temperatures running a bit high

Thanks for all the answers i really appriciate any kind of feedback
