COOLER MASTER V750 vs Seasonic 650 w vs others

MiniSchnazer

Hi,

r9 290x

P8p67

i7 2600k

2x4 GB RAM

HDD, DVD-RW

CM II 690 Advanced

SeaSonic 620 w Bronze --- died.

Most people agree that 600 w is enough. It was 4 year old, bad electricity... And I am not sure, is it enough or not.

Choices:

1. Seasonic 620 w (exactly the same I had)

2. V750 Semi-Modular from Cooler Master

or even more expensive

3. Seasonic SSR-650RT

4. Cooler Master V850.

Thanks.

Is it still under warranty? You could get a replacement (in like two weeks) and use that or sell it on ebay.

I vote for the V750.

Better yet... Paul from Paul's Hardware recently used this one in a build: Thermaltake Toughpower TPD-0750M 750W 80+ Gold

Evga g2/g1 & p2/p1, seasonic, and xfx are the best.

If you've previously won the build off please pm me so we can get something worked out.

The EVGA G1 and *1 series in general is poor. Only good one is the 1000W G1

It's $20.

$20 more for Seasonic G? Eeh, not worth it.

Is there V650?

No, and no V700.

Seasonic 620 w Bronze died, but it proves that my configuration can work... But it's minimum. Seasonic 650 w Gold or Seasonic 660w platinum is better and probably enough, and yet I want 750 w, to be sure and also I can upgrade more easily. Seasonic 750 is expensive and also has lot of bad reviews on Newegg... I have money now, and I need to pick one.

Sure, then go for V750.

It's CM V850.

However, after installing it yesterday I can hear sound. I don't know is it normal or not. I can hear it on shutdown.
