R9 280X SUPPORT DIRECT 3D 12 ?

Can you confirm with me that the R9 280X is compatible with DirectX 12 and Direct 3D 12? Thanks !

does it support 11.2 if so then yes. And a 280X i would have most definitely thought it would since the 380 and 390 are exactly the same chip anyway.

LOL where'd you get that from? The Tahiti is most certainly not the same as the Antigua and Grenada chip.

...no... the 380 uses the 285 chip and the 390 uises the 290 one. The 280x is a rebranded 7970ghz, and is currently not used in any 300 series card.

For DX 12, i guess it is, 

 

but for Direct 3D 12? is it?

Direct x is basically the same as direct 3d. (direct 3d is actually part of direct x).
