Sound System Newbie Need Help!

So I am in the market looking for a decent sound system for my recently build PC. I am currently using a Takstar Hi2050 (ik they are cheap, but they sound great). I am now looking for:

  1. Closed- Back, Over-the-Ear Headphones (Neutral)
  2. DAC/AMP Combo (USB)
  3. 2.0 or 2.1 Speaker System
  4. Mic

I am planning to play around with editing music, videos, and other stuff. Reason for the closed back (neutral) headphones. My On board Sound Card is just BAD, I can't drive an 80 Ohms DT990 (my dad's). My dad also gave me a Xonar U7 but it just straight up break after 2 months, the plug for headphones won't work. I am looking for the DAC/AMP (USB) for the headphones and the speaker that i am planning to get. I'll be plugging bot the speaker and Headphones on the DAC/AMP at the same time and just switch it around on Windows (10). I saw some pretty cool 2.0 multimedia speakers and they are quite good, with great bass and decent highs. I don't care about the loudness of the speakers i am more concerned on the clarity and balance. For the Mic, I will be using it for VOIP, Skype, etc. I am looking for a mic that wont pick up the sound of my surrounding (if possible). (I have a separate Mic for recordings (The Audio Technica AT2020 (gift from a great friend of mine)))

Budget:

  1. Headphones = $100
  2. DAC/AMP (USB) = $100
  3. 2.0 or 2.1 Speaker System = $160
  4. Mic = $60

Do nothing other than this.

Takstar Pro 80

Schiit Fulla

Swan M10 (obvious)

Modmic 4

This array of products represent insane value. Like the HI 2050, the Pro 80 punches above it's weight in sound quality.

The Fulla is the only DAC+amp you'll ever need, unless you upgrade to a planar headphone.

The M10 will be well ahead of the powered monitors, while maintaining a balanced sound. They are about quality over quantity - get a logitech set if you want uncontrolled bass regurgitated all over you.

Finally, the Modmic is really the only way to defeat background noise in the price range.

1. i already have a Pro80, i am looking for a neutral set of cans, for some random mixing when im in the mood, or when i just wanna hear how the source sounds like.

2. isn't the Fulla only limited with a headphone jack in? i wanna plug in my headphones and speakers at the same time.

3. i agree with the m10, planning to get it.

4. true modmic 4.0 is great.

1. Sony MDR 7506.

2. SMSL SD793-II if you have optical out. Pre-amp out is unlikely at this price point.

1. what do you think of the 7510?

2. really? for a $100 there's no decent pre-amped out for headphones and an out for speakers, DAC combo?
