Samsung's 3,200 x 1,800 ATIV Book 9 Plus looks to arrive August 20th for $1,400

The real news is that it has been listed at $1399 for a 1.6GHz Haswell core i5-4200U, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 128GB SSD, Intel HD4400, Windows 8 and a 3200x1800 touchscreen equipped version which is expected to be available on August 20th. Of course you can choose a better specced version or a Lite version (check the post linked above for more info) but those prices are not listed yet.

Is anyone waiting to buy a Haswell ultrabook? and if so which ones are you looking forward to?

 

While I am waiting to buy an ultrabook I will probably be waiting until Christmas holidays, hopefully by then we'll have a decent amount to choose from since currently Macbook Air is the only option (probably thanks to Windows 8.1 not being out yet). This and the lite version are definitely in my list for ultrabooks to look out for together with the ZBI and possibly S7.

I definitely don't hope so. It would be nice if someone other than Apple would finally put a laptop with a proper good panel on the market.

someone needs to zombie like 6 nexus 10 screens together to get a really nice crisp screen.....either that or run them in eyefinity or nvidia surround.....a resolution of 7680x3200 (3x2) would be awesome....ipad screens would work aswell.....
