I suspect a driver issue then.

I had this problem yesterday, check your GPUs.txt. Is it blank? If so download a new one here.

Re-install the folding software and erase all data. And then manually update your GPU.txt with this list

Find your gpu.txt at C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient

I had the same problem a few days ago (also gtx 970).

Reinstalled F@H just now and its suddenly working (detecting the gpu) even without me changing anything.

I did select "install for everyone" in the setup, not "just for me"... dont know if that might have caused the issue.

edit:

I'm running Win10 Pro and the 355.60 GeForce driver.

 Intel Core i7 4790K || G.Skill 16GB DDR3 || MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G || Fractal Design Define R5 || Asus Gryphon Z97 || EVGA SuperNOVA 750G2 || Crucial MX100 256GB || Noctua NH-D15
