I have never built a media PC and I really want to try one out

 

budget is £300-£350

 

can be pre built

 

needs to be able to stream movies and run things like netflix

What resolutions do you need to be able to play? 1080p max? 

Also, is that the only thing you need it to do?

1080p max for now and pretty much yeah, I have a £1,700 PC for everything else, I just want something dedicated to media and blu-ray playing

I would also preferably like it to be quite quiet, I can push the budget up as well

The A8 APU has a great graphics core for streaming video and light couch gaming (Still more powerful than a PS4...).

The Noctua fans will keep it quiet, and the 2133MHz Ram is really a must for the APUs since they share system memory with the GPU core.
