Does anybody have Airtame?

Hello LTT group. 

 

I recently came across the problem of wanting to stream my computer to my 55" TV in my living room. I had no interest in buying a large HDMI cable and running everywhere. So I did some research and now I'm here asking some questions.

 

There was a lot of hype for airtame when it was first announced, and it raised a lot of money on indigogo. So now I'm curious, does anybody here own one??? its hard to find reviews on the item, and any reviews on Youtube are not in english (maybe a good future review for Linus?)

 

Its not a cheap price either, sitting at 300$, this could potentially play into why there aren't many people reviewing them.

I was going to look into this too. $300 is not worth it at all haha. Rasberry PI 2 might be my answer.

wut. assuming wireless HDMI? you can do that for 100$, and if not, you can run a hdmi cable though your walls/ceiling whatever. much cheaper.
