check your Ethernet drivers. My wifi adapter did weird things like after the windows 10 update, until I reinstalled the drivers...

This is sometimes a problem with me, I just simply unplug the Ethernet cable from back of PC and plug it back in, it might work. IF not you may need to reinsatll drivers

All you (slightly) lucky people with out of the box NIC support make me sad.

*hugs his Killer E2200 NIC*

I had to reinstall the driver after upgrading T.T

Don't trust windows, run speedtest.net Also, are you getting 1 Gbit/s ethernet from your ISP?

P.S: mind the bit with a small b, no bytes here. (1 Gbit is 128 megabytes)

Dude you don't even know what that window is for then. That's the maximum possible connection speed to the access point the OP has because of what they're using to connect to the access point.

I realize that, if it's 10 mbit he has a problem, though he didn't specify what his connection to his ISP was and I assumed it was part of the probelm, I believed that he thought he automatically had 1 gbit link to the outside world by just connecting a cat 5e/6 cable. No reason to go on the offense. OP should specify his post. We don't even know what he's using exept for that windows shows 10 mbit/s.

OP doesn't have to specify anything, Windows is showing what the connection speed is to the access point and it's not supposed to be that low. How is that so hard to understand?
