Custom Loop Prices?

Go to solution Solved by TheKDub,

Depending on the parts used, I'd guess anywhere from like $200 all the way up into the thousands.

Or possibly even cheaper if you do it this way:

It can be what you need it to be essentially.

Work out what you need. GPU, CPU? Type of tubing? Res+pump? Fittings? Radiators? Calculate it to your own needs :P

If you want to go the inexpensive route, you can get a AIO for your CPU and for the GPU get a Kraken G10 or Corsair HG10 and then get a 120/140MM all in one for that as well.

Kraken G10 - https://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/138-kraken-g10-gpu-bracket.html

Corsair HG10 - http://www.corsair.com/en-us/hydro-series-hg10-a1-gpu-liquid-cooling-bracket

Good AIO for CPU - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-cpu-cooler-cw9060021ww

Good AIO for GPU - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-cpu-cooler-rlkrx3101

All of this totals to ~$200 I believe, depending on whether you go with the Corsair or Kraken

I REALLY wish sometimes people would just give me an answer rather than state their opinion, or at the very least do both to have some type of comparison unlike having only suggestions.

Then perhaps you should be calling and asking a retail store instead of posting on a public forum where anyone can post what they wish ;)

The reason why its hard to give an accurate answer, is that because there is so many parts out there, so is it hard to say that this price will cover all setups, even on the cheap ends of things.

Just remember, the corsair bracket accepts any hydro series cooler from corsair, while the nzxt kraken g10 accepts any asetek cooler from nzxt, corsair, zalman, antec or thermaltake. I like the corsair one more simply because it covers the PCB better and a blower style fan looks and works good (assuming the card is liquid cooled, otherwise they suck donkey dick)

A corsair H55 is probably easier to find cheap than an X31, also they are made mostly for reference cards, so check compatibility.

It can be used with the corsair bracket, but not with the kraken, it's not asetek. But if u were planning on selling it, get a corsair HG10 and you can use it to watercool your GPU
