Love my HTC One M9

cjm86

My first smart phone was the iPhone 4 when it first came out. I then had a Galaxy S2 for about a month (wasn't mine, was just using it). Then had another iPhone 4 for the last 2 years, so I had a phone that came out 5 years ago. Needless to say, it was time for a new phone. Well yesterday I went and got the HTC One M9 in gunmetal grey and I absolutely love it. It was between the M9 and the G4, I like the way the M9 feels in my hand better. I don't think I'll be going back to Apple. [emoji3]

That camera, overheating tendencies, worse screen than the M8 and Sense would completely steer me towards a G4, and I have an M8.

As much as I would love to agree with this statement, I made that jump and regret it. The G4 is plagued with its own set of issues not related to the SoC.

Elaborate? My cousin just got one, it seems to be a great device aside from probably battery life.

Im not worried about the camera at all, I dont take a shit load of pictures. And I don't work my phones to death like some people, I don't play games all day. I've been on it pretty much since I got it downloading apps and trying different games, it hasn't gotten hot for me. And the screen looks fine to me too. I love it.

I'm not sure honestly.  He says it's good but he doesn't use his phone a lot at all.

It has some major touch screen issues where at times the touch screen becomes unresposive (only happens to me when charging, but there have been a lot of reports regarding this). Battery life is subpar. For me it was a big shock because I had upgraded from the g2 and that battery was nothing short of amazing. Some issues with bluetooth not connecting to certain devices (had this issue connecting to my car radio). LG and the US carriers have removed some lollipop features such as guest accounts. I'm sure there are others, but I haven't encountered them. Were it not for the extra battery and case promo, I probably would've stuck it out with my g2.
