Stackable LG ultrawide monitors?

SpoopyFox

I remember at CES LG showed off some new ultrawide monitors, one of which was a stackable version. Since then I have not seen or heard anything about them, yet on one of LG's monitor product pages, it shows the monitor in question, but the actual monitor on the page seems to be a different model. Is there something I'm missing? As of writing this, I went to get a link of the page and they've updated it and removed the pictures of the stackable version, but its still available on the commercial side.

Errr...

What do you mean by "Stackable"?

If you mean the monitors themselves being physically stackable - that's just done with a monitor mount, even on the commercial line. They've released an updated model for the consumer one to include proper VESA mounting.

If you mean window stacking, both pages discuss that option.

I know really any monitor can be stacked with the right VESA mount, but these were marketed as having this feature of being able to be combined together as a standard option. There was no need for a separate mount for them.

No other monitor in their line is marketed in this way, and unless I'm misunderstanding this completely, there is no "official" way of doing this as of yet. Going back to CES they had them on display as separate models, the basic one shown on the consumer site, the 34UC87C, and the model I'm talking about, which is the model listed on the commercial site, the 34UC87M. I saw this as well and was going to suggest this setup to a client at my company for his security setup (he looking for a new screen surround setup for his security cameras and wanted high resolution screens) but alas I had to hold my tongue as I could not find it anymore.

   :(   <_<
