If I go non-genuine windows 10 but later decide to buy genuine, how much will it be? Windows 7 price or a different price?

Yoo Song Won

Who knows.....? It will probably drop in price eventually, but seeing as they plan to have windows 10 be around for a long time and just update it over the years, the price may not really change. Why not just try and get a windows 7 key (from reddit) and upgrade it to 10?

It'll always be whatever price it is in the store.

Microsoft store is usually something like $120 for a retail copy, MAYBE a little cheaper for upgrade.

I think the price of the OSes retain their value. They don't usually change, unless you're getting it from a university, or something where it's cheaper because of a specific reason.

As above, best bet is to buy a Win 7 key, install that, then upgrade to Windows 10 (All within a year, of course).

It's the same as Windows 8.1.
